What Cam to Cam Means on TalkMatch
Cam to cam means both cameras are on: you see the other person and they see you, live, in a one to one call. On TalkMatch that call is random, so every press of Start or Next brings a new stranger to the other half of the screen.
That is the difference from a one-way cam, where one person streams and you only watch, often alongside other viewers. Cam to cam is a conversation, not a broadcast: you talk, they answer, and either of you can move on whenever you like.
TalkMatch, also known as Talk Match TV, runs the whole thing in your browser at talkmatch.tv. You may see it written camtocam, cam2cam or cam 2 cam; it is the same idea: two cameras, two people, one call.

A cam to cam chat starts with a face, so a minute of setup pays off before you press Start.
Put the light in front of you, not behind, and lift the camera until it sits level with your eyes. Keep your face and shoulders in frame, with your eyes around the upper third of the picture, the way the guide lines show.
Check the background for anything you would rather keep private, like letters, a window view or photos on the wall. A quiet room or earphones help the other person hear you, and clear sound matters more than a perfect picture.

Random is the heart of TalkMatch: you do not pick a face from a list, you press Start and meet whoever is next.
Random matches cost nothing and work without an account, so there is no sign up between you and the first call. If you would rather meet only women or only men, Gender Preferences offers Female and Male; either one costs coins per match, and you sign in first.
Every match is a real person, not a bot. Stay as long as the conversation is good, press Next when it is not, and use Report if someone crosses a line: Report flags them and Next ends the call.

How Private Is a Cam to Cam Call?
Very private on everything TalkMatch controls; the one thing it cannot control is the other camera.
Your cam to cam call is encrypted end to end, TalkMatch included, and no part of it is recorded or stored on TalkMatch's side. The stranger on the other camera never sees your IP address; it is hidden as the call passes TalkMatch's server. Random takes no email and no name, and if you ever buy coins, the line on your card statement carries neither "video chat" nor the TalkMatch name.
What TalkMatch cannot promise is what happens on the other side of the screen: TalkMatch's privacy policy says the other person can capture your picture. Keep your face in frame and your personal details out of it.

Random matches are free and need no account. Picking Female or Male instead uses coins for every match and requires signing in.
Do I need to sign up for cam to cam?
No sign up is needed for Random. You only sign in for the paid gender choices.
Is cam2cam the same as cam to cam?
Yes. Cam2cam, cam 2 cam and camtocam are simply different spellings of the same two camera, one to one call.
Can anyone else watch my cam to cam call?
Nobody else is in the call; it runs between two cameras only. The other person could still capture a picture, so keep private details off screen.
Does cam to cam work on my phone?
Yes. A phone browser works just like a laptop; allow camera and microphone access when your browser asks.
